Millback Amateurs was founded in 2003 by Club Secretary Paul Currie and club President: David Smith, our team name came from the location of our two founder’s home towns Milngavie and Clydebank hence the name Millbank.
We started off life playing in the Dunbartonshire & District Welfare League where we had dominated picking up the league title and competed in most of the cup competition finals in our stay there. The decision was then made to move and compete in a higher standard of league to better ourselves as a club and team. We are currently competing in the Central Scottish Amateur League which is regarded as one of the best leagues in Scotland where we have been playing for the last couple of years now.
